Sites for mobile phones will be getting their own top level domain suffix: mobi. They won't be appearing until next Summer, however. From VNUNet:

The new domain will be managed by a holding company, mTLD Top Level Domain, which was formed by member companies including Hutchison 3, GSM Association, Ericsson, Microsoft, Nokia, Samsung Electronics, T-Mobile and Vodafone.

Sounds good, although why am I slightly worried about all the mobile phone manufacturers managing their own TLD?
