Akasa do it all in one

There are a fair few multifunction front panel units available on the market, so what does AKASA have to offer with their latest model? They reckon it's a 21 function panel, and looking at both the spec sheet and the product pictures, I think they're right. Perhaps the most notable features of the new AKASA AllInOne are the choice of colours, the front cover to hide the intimidating array of connections and also the presence of a SATA power socket, along with a SATA data socket for connecting up an external SATA drive.

Get a full list of feature's in AKASA's press release and check out the very first pictures of the AllInOne, right here at HEXUS.

The 'AllInOne' graphic looks a little poor imo.

What we share with everyone is glum, and dark...

Wouldn't mind it if they provided a changeable front rather then completely different units.

True - both of the above. All In One does sound like a nappy, and changeable fronts would be useful. Plus I already have most of the ports/functions somewhere on my PC. I'd still buy one if they were under £30, though.

Nice. Is the door strong enough to take cables draping over it? Will it come with the appropriate SATA cables?

I would like to see one inside a case. Not sure how that curved front will look against a flat fronted case tbh - pity it looks just what I need.

    Wow, they look really awesome
The red glossy one in the first pics is the best, I'd just need a case that would fit to that color...

[quote=PrivatePyle]The problem with front panel units is they never look good once you have a few wires plugged into them.
    QUOTE]

The problem with these is, that it's going to be hard that they fit your pc...
You really need a special case to make them look good in it, but if you have that, those would look awesome

Where on the side do you want to put them in actually?
    edit:
    or _would_ you want

Can't wait for a review - I want more detail on the automatic fan control. I must say that the FC03 was the best FC I ever had.

Seems that you do get the cables (and loads of them). Good detail/pics here: http://www.akasa.com.tw/akasa_englis...k_all_01rd.htm

    these look great to me.

and only £20 on today only the other day.

was very temped to get one, but i have a shuttle, so its kinda a no go.

I did however think, with a little sleeving and cable extending, that would look half bad just sitting on your desktop would it?
