The only doubt I have in mind about this is that the shooting elements and hand to hand combat will be naff. I know the game's not about that, but I hope the combat is at least enjoyable

yep, to me this game looks great. It's fresh, from what i can tell looks really fun, and is visually beautiful.

i think i'll reserve judgement for the demo, seems like its very hit or miss

It reminds me a lot of Assassins Creed - the demos/videos of that were amazing, but the game sorely lacking. Hopefully not the same this time out!
