Re: News - Leaked slides expose NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 "Fermi" GPU

I'm getting fed up waiting! Is it going to be late? When is the dual GPU version coming? How much will it be. Are there any water blocks available to silence/cool the beast?

Just launch the damned thing! This is really starting to get toooo much!

They need to change/shoot thier marketing department. This looks like something done with crayons. three ticks better than one? Choose all your propierity gizmos and then check to see if your competitor has them.

    Genius.

And where's ATI Stream for the GPU compute? Or is that just the Direct Compute box?

Re: News - Leaked slides expose NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 "Fermi" GPU

Just spotted the following on the catalyst 10.3 Preview:

ATI Catalyst™ support for 3D Stereoscopic glasses
AMD has updated it's Direct3D (Quad buffer support) driver to enable 3rd party middleware vendors such as iZ3D to output stereo L/R images at 120 Hz (60 Hz per eye)

same thing isn't it - maybe if they used 'fastest card' then there would be a brawl.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Re: News - Leaked slides expose NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 "Fermi" GPU

Does that slide realy say the 5870 doenst do multi monitor gaming???
If this is as rumoured to be bit faster than a 5870 and consume 290watts and cost $499 then I will be having a 5970 I think.
