Re: News - Arctic Cooling launches Accelero XTREME Plus

I've got the Accelero twin turbo pro on an hd4850 1GB, i'll use this on my next card too.

    also, I've got an older accelero S1 or s2 on a 4850 512mb

I had no issues with either, and the cooling perf is just outstanding...I had a small review here on the forums of the twin turbo a while back..

Re: News - Arctic Cooling launches Accelero XTREME Plus

Not had any issues with my 4870x2 cooler.

The article is a bit flawed in that it states that all cards in the 5800/4800/3800 series will be supported when the 5970, 4870x2 and 3870x2 are not.

This is of course obvious from the pictures and details on the AC site but still, I like articles to be accurate.

Most of the times the X2s are classified as separate from the 4***/3*** series. AMD themselves do it, so the only niggle could be the 5970 (only because they couldn't be arsed to put an X2 at the end )
