Im only really interested because of the ability to install ubuntu on it but even that is a bit sketchy so if i miss out im not gunna cry over it.
I have seen a lot people saying that HP isnt giving up on webos, just the hardware platform. Webos is going to be licensed out
On another note - seeing as there are people working on an Andriod port (and it will be done), would it be worth paying a bit more for one off eBay perhaps?

That's a marketplace offer. If it's not sold and dispatched directly through Amazon then it's usually a third party offer.

Expansys are taking pre-orders, it's full price at the moment but "Pre-order to BE FIRST" looks promising.
They won't take payment untill you confirm so no loss if the prices don't change as you can just cancel.

I just ordered one through one of my trade contacts but their website just crashed. They did sell 500 in less than 5 minutes though.
32gb's ones has all gone now. thats 700 in 8 minutes.

for the moment we do not know the price as our suppliers don’t offer it at discount prices at least not at this time so your order is on hold till we will have the confirmation.
You card has not been charged but the money has been reserved according the value of the order.
we are in talks with suppliers right now but some far we got no reply or confirmation about this from them or HP directly if they will honour this rebate.
If this is confirmed, we will contact all backorders and let them know the new price and asked them to RE-confirm the orders before shipping them out.

Well play have just pulled the 32gb model from the website, no price reduction just pulled.
Well, I got told my 32gb order wouldn't go through so I ordered a 16gb instead.
Just got the phone call from my account manager saying that both have shipped and if I want, i can just send one back. Just need to see if both turn up.
