Running games @ native resolution would be difficult....but imagine how they would look!
The great thing they have done is using a nice simple multiple of 1080p....which means you will be able to get "pixel alignment" (pseudo 1:1 pixel mapping)....stopping current 1080p material getting distorted.

The price will be astronomical..... for a while.
Although none of us are likely to be able to afford them, it still shows how this technology will eventually hit the high end consumer market. Until now quad-HD (or whatever you want to call that resolution) displays have been aimed squarely at the professional video production houses only. We are talking James Cameron money here.
