    Impressive. I must admit I've not looked wider to see if this sort of technology is out anywhere else (quite often there are similar-but-better programs produced by Universities before the tools eventually make it into Photoshop), but this is certainly one of those "That's going to be a MAJOR advancement" moments!

    *Cough* http://www.nist.gov/lispix/imlab/FFT/deblur.html

    It's clever, but only if you have the right parameters.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Re: News - Adobe "unblur" technology: one-click to sharpen images

    Astronomers have been using deconvolution for years now, and even amateurs can produce pin sharp shots. Great for removing tracking errors. One astro software package already has a single click for removing this type or tracking error.

    Mind you, I dont think its as good as this above !

    Indeed, which was why I was intrested by the fact he loaded a "settings" file right before building the kernel.

    Also worth noting lots of digital cameras already make a stab at this, often using acceleramoter data too.
