    Oh dear. Not that old, either.

    I guess that as a technology that's reaching the point where the founding fathers are of "an age", we can expect more and more of this.

    RIP Dennis.
    C was the first serious language I had a stab at a while back. As Saracen said we are beginning to lose some of the greats now.
    We lost Tony Sale a few weeks ago too.

    Thanks to Dennis Ritchie we don't have to program with machine codes, which gave us so much more fun in programming.

    Im fairly sure I met him when he visited GEC Computers where I worked in the late 80s !
