Why aren't they making more darkfield models without the fast scroll or whatever they call it?

every time I touch something wireless it seems to stop working... I think I'll stick to wired too.

I quite like my Anymouse MX - if you want the flick-scroll then you can press the scroll wheel to enable it, otherwise it's just a normal click-scroller. Personally I find this a great feature - sometimes you want to go fast, other times it's better to have more "precision". Actually, count me as a Logitech Mouse fan - tried ones from Microsoft, Trust, etc and they've always felt "compromised" in comparison.

Hmm, admire your enthusiasm, not quite sure I'd agree. I've got a call out for a non-installing copy of SetPoint on Win XP at the moment, and we're at the "send us a dozen log files" stage. That's after the UK support site call I logged mysteriously got sent to the US (by mistake?) and they then had to forward it. At least they're answering the mails and seem friendly/interested. Hopefully we can get a solution soon and I can continue to give them the thumbs-up.

As to their eCommerce, (buying products from Logitech direct), don't get me started - inefficient, and not helpful. But then again, I had the same problem with Ubisoft and their eCommerce support folks were equally useless. sigh!.

Big fan of the products though - gone from K510 to K340 to K800 keyboard, and I tend to recommend Logi's mice too.

Status: hating Rocksmith 2014 (PC version) with a passion - so frustrating!

    Um.
I've had two M305s and an M505. The sculpted design in the picture doesn't look any different. And 'more grooves per mm' for a smoother navigation sounds like cobblers. Doesn't Windows handle the scroll increment?

I like my current wireless logitech, don't get me wrong, but this looks like an attempt to over-milk the cow rather than any sort of radical breakthrough. It ain't news, its marketing. Don't fall for it.
