I definitely agree that so far, judging only the process manager tabs we've been shown, Microsoft has done a damn good job.

I hope other area's of the operating system have similar improvements.

Thumbs up Re: News - Managing Tasks – The Windows 8 Way

This writer has been stepping cautiously around general UI changes to Windows 8 and is holding judgement, but in this instance, a job well done, Microsoft.
Judging purely on the article, this is a nice piece of design - leave the power/flexibility for those times you need it, but don't confuse folks who only want to zap a misbehaving app. Well done MS!

At this rate - crappy desktop UI permitting - I think MS can count on at least two or three orders from my household for Win7->Win8 upgrades.

Re: News - Managing Tasks – The Windows 8 Way

I did mean to add that i like how it shows each programs I/O and networks statistics without having to go into the performance monitor like you do now.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

+1 for disk i/o in task manager. Also it defaults to a much more sinsble MB/s scale. I hope they add some sort of feature to show the stats for processes running under System
