    For its performance class it seems that around 1MW is actually relatively low power consumption.

    It also seems the cooling technology used might be useful for more powerful designs:

    Very impressive, I wonder if Sony and IBM will take a look at their patents to see if they can sue them considering they are the big boys on the RISC block.

    I hope they go on to create commercial versions of these chips so we can finally get some desktop RISC processors. I've been hoping the Cell processor would get into desktop computers but it hasn't happened yet
