Surely, a ~£2 webcam in each cell is cheaper then a custom designed robot?

Seriously, who did they get to design that thing? McDonalds?

In all seriousness, robotic "humans", spells trouble
Would make a great weapon once a few bits have been stamped on & broken off....
I fail to see how this is going to make any difference.
Prisoner: "I'm dying, help me!"
Robot: "I'm sorry, I don't understand that command, did you mean "I'm crying"? Are you sad?"
