27 inches is not what most will call cinema 3D !

cinema 3d is what they call their passive 3d as its a very similar (if not the same) tech, it will make actual cinema quality 3d look pants as all their 3d offerings seem to do.

Very interested in an IPS panel with 3d, cant expect 120Hz but i wouldnt mind settling for good colours and optional 3d .

Pffff, I thought most would be after the IPS and 120Hz rather than the 3D itself?

Oh yes terb, im hoping for 120Hz at some point but its a big compromise... i want 3d and a decent refresh time but you cant combine it with IPS , ill eat my hat and pay loads if it happens in 2012. Im told that its more likely for OLED to be mainstream before 120Hz ips is done and obviously 120Hz wouldnt be finished since OLED would have taken over.

Go OLED, only like 5 more years or more like 2 now .

You don't really need 120Hz from a passive 3D monitor, not in the same way as you would want it for active at least.
