She's a beauty. Well done ASUS.
p.s. don't even want to hear the price though..
Re: News - Leaked specifications reveal ASUS's next-gen Ultrabooks
They seemed to stay away from the vast number of different spec options for the current revision and just sell a 'big' and 'small' model. Prices weren't unbearable for the current ones, I could see it hitting £2k for a fully kitted out new spec.

My first thought was - bloody hell, an 11" screen and 1920x1080 resolution would be ridiculous!
On second thoughts though, that would be more to do with the way that MS Windows interface doesnt scaled well (i'm imagining tiny 'x's that are near-impossibly to click) - but presumably Windows 8 will scale much better.
The new ipad after all is higher res at a smaller size, so as long as one can still interact with it in the proper way, then great.

There have been unverified reports on the web suggesting Ivy Bridge ultrabooks are set to be cheaper than the current generation.

There may be unverified reports that I've got my credit card out and bought something shiney soon :help: The price was just a bit high on the current generation...

Certainly looks very nice. My opinion of ASUS has gone up a lot (not that it was below good, in the first place!), since I helped my parents get a good cheap 15.6 inch, i3 based laptop. The build quality is very good, if not the best I've seen in the sub £400 sector. Tough Aluminium and a good led screen that gives my Samsung laptop a run for its money. ASUS is certainly a brand to watch IMHO.
I going to get ASUS made products for my future desktop and will consider them for a future laptop/ultrabook/tablet too.

Now these are nice! If only I could justify buying one...!!
