Yeah of course it was, that is the reason why they were so unorganised and didnt ship it early like everywhere else has done! Amazon knew this would be big yet ignored it and took it as any other game, infact probably organised it worse than others.

Hopefully i get mine tomorrow but i doubt RM are that fast from amazon!.

The demo was good, well polished and great mechanics so it's a shame that they spoilt it by making it online only.

I hope mine arrives tomorrow. I'd settle for the next day even, but when I've had something pre-ordered for months and it doesn't arrive for over a week (not amazon I'll add, but a certain other popular Jersey-based etailer who told me over a week later when I called that they were out of stock... but mine would be in their next shipment - if you take a pre-order that early and don't have sufficient stock, surely it'd be polite to at least let the customer know!)it takes the ****.

Except for when buying ltd/collectors editions, I'd gladly go with the digital downloads, only hard copies tend to be £5-£15 cheaper.

I've gone for one digital and one collectors, guaranteed next day delivery is DPD, they give you a 1 hour slot on the day, but still I miss gameplay Always a day or two early shipping very angry with amazon (moaned and got delivery for free mind you).

I finally got on this morning (gave up at around 12am last night, servers were just not working), played for 30 min before work and the time just..vanished.

Excellent fun hack/slash with the added bonus of RealID and achievements - just wish we could have cross-game guild chat next so I could talk to WoW people who I don't have on RealID..ah one day

It was quite entertaining to see the mass-exodus at 10:55 last night though, seemed like the whole of WoW logged out and started trying to login to Diablo.

Bit of an epic fail by Blizzard here really, you would expect them to have learnt from previous launches..and they know how many annual passes they sold - they should have expected 10 million people to try and login at once.

Mine was shipped on the yesterday (14th), I so hope its on the doormat when I get home after work. The beta was ace.

This will be my first Diablo game. I only plyaed the first area of D2 and left it after that, I'd just completed Torchlight and found them to be very similar, though Torchlight was much prettier.

Diablo III is going to suck all my time away from Sinper Elite V2, Fez and Civ V. Sigh. So many great games, so little time
