good god, its the first line of the specs... i actually read the whole thing, clearly not thinking today but i still stand by it probably not being very good as you can buy an LG IPS for £100, ips doesnt mean pure quality like it used to. I hope its good though, be nice for another competitor!.

Not sure about this. The brightness setting looks to me like it should be an always on function if it requires processing screen side. If it is not just a gamma tweak then it could prove to be interesting, however this is exactly what it looks like so it better be price competetive as there are well known established screens already here that can offer a bargain.
