UK will now pay for goods/services within Facebook in Pounds, Americans in Dollars, Greeks in --Drachmas-- Euros etc.

    That bit made me smile!

"With local pricing, you will be able to set more granular and consistent prices for non-US users and price the same item differently on a market-by-market basis.”

Great. Now they'll be able to fix UK prices so we don't see any benefit when exchange rates improve. Different prices for different markets only holds the Internet back from creating a single global marketplace.

*The new system will allow Facebook users to input their credit card details once to store on Facebook, just like on Amazon. From then on Facebook users can order very simply, quickly and easily with a one click system*

I think hackers around the world have just given birth in excitement of this...
