Can i have line speed of 2.5terabits/s before things like this are done? Seems a bit pointless till we actually have a infrastructure that can support these speeds .

But still, any improvement to wireless is a bonus .

I think the implications of this technology extend far, far, far, far beyond your need for faster internet. Brushing aside the need for faster line speeds, there are numerous other industries that can benefit from this technology.

That is incredible. I freaking love technology! although we may need to find a new way of writing data - HDD just isn't going to cut it!

Re: News - Breakthrough in wireless transmission offers 2.5 terabits/s

Would this mean that I can have speeds faster than 100KBs down my street?

Seriously though, I love these breakthroughs. There are some clever boffins out there. I might even get to benefit from this by the time I retire!
