Makes sense. Why palm off cash to Intel when you can use your own processors.
For these it is going to come down to price, screen and asthetics as otherwise they will all be quite similar I would think. I am really looking forward to the windows pro tablet should the price be right.

I think the RT is going to be priced around £599 and Pro around £999, I'm preparing to eat my hat if cheaper.
If I was looking for a laptop in the form of a tablet design then this would be a good option, although still expensive compared to notebooks.
I think these devices will only be for the wealthy amongst us, otherwise the masses will be more than happy with the Android world.
If the RT is £599 it will flop. It needs to be the same as the asus transformer prime or it is not worth it!

The thing is the asus never made a simple "dixons shop display mode" for want of a phrase for their tablets. This is something that stops it been slowed down, having anything installed on it etc.
As such if you ever play with one in a store, you end up, very quickly thinking "meh, iPad is better". Because the user experience just doesn't feel as good.
If Microsoft price themselves with a 32gb + case at £499 I could see it working, at £599 for the RT, I can't see why anyone would buy one.
