$0.5m for a social media site with no users, and a dreadful reputation?

Doesn't it have any goodwill on the net?

$500,000 goodwills as all they had left. Or maybe that's just the scrap value of their servers.

Re: News - Digg sold for just $0.5 million

It was sold at closer to $16M all in all, not $500k.

    http://techcrunch.com/2012/07/12/dig...and-betaworks/

I have no idea why this headline keeps traveling across sites. Around $12M was spent buying the Digg team before this purchase. It's a great headline, but it's stretching the truth a lot: The brand / domain / traffic and tech was sold for $500k, but everything else was sold for a *lot* more.

Could we have this clarified in the article?
