It's high time that Google stepped up and offered the main Android licensee's some legal protection from Apple's writ barrage. Hopefully the Motorola IP stack can be used to threaten Apple into backing off and "playing nice". Although I'll be the first to admit that this is probably a naive hope.

Sorry to moan, but that title hurts my head. Google's filling? is it intended to be filing? and was it motorola's purchase was for the patents? Its a title that makes no sense as it stands.
