The point of the article is not for Sony to go trolling after Apple but for Samsung to actually start selling their devices as they should've been able long time ago. Oh and.. £uK YOU Apple.

I'll never but an Apple product no matter how good or how cheap they become due to their ridiculous patent policy. If they were a car manufacturer they'd be suing everyone who made cars with 4 wheels and a steering wheel.

The motor industry is an amazing example of how look, feel and style has to be copied in a modern competitive world. Its full of cars that has stolen ideas from other cars and it is accepted as normal.
Thing is people still aspire for that original creation the spawned the true design, people respect and look to it inherently as 'the best' which is what makes it so important to be the first, not the only.
Exactly, if they're so insecure about people copying their designs take it as a compliment and pity them for creating it second, then design something better
Which seems to be what apple are struggling with and getting left behind. The 4S was an underwhelming launch, and if the images of the 5 are fairly accurate i think that is set to be quite similar ordeal. People will buy it in the thousands but im starting to wonder, have they run out of new ideas?

I operate a strict anti-Apple policy. I go for what's best, and the way apple operate means it's never ever them.
Except that manufacturers are trying and failing to do anything about the Chinese ripping off car designs. Top Gear was at least slightly informative in one episode...
