Ooo - Exciting! Looking forward to the competition and what it brings! Just hoping for a decent spec 10" (Android?) tablet at £250 to fall out the bottom..

I'll be tempering my interest because if there's anything exciting announced then when the 'eck are us non-US folks going to see it? Oh, and Amazon UK, don't bother with the Kindle Fire - everyone agrees that the Nexus7, (which is readily available), kicks it into the weeds.

But a colour (sorry "color") eInk Kindle would be VERY interesting to me - especially if it was due to hit the UK around Christmas time.

Hilarious to see that the forums (not Hexus of course) reckon that an Amazon Phone is going to be announced.

I didn't expect you to read that quite so literally crossy - I'm just expecting companies to keep battling out for cheapest price/best features and something very cheap and exciting to be available in 6 months!

Personally I think it'll just be the kindle fire 2 thats launched. Also didn't amazon start flogging the kindle 2 over here, skipping the original kindle entirely? I think that might, just might happen with a fire 2 so hopefully we'll see it soon?
