Samsung makes some pretty desirable mobile phones! If you are arty in any way, the pen has so much more control. It would be neat if you could use the phone as a window onto your desktop photoshop though! Like a mini Wacom tablet.

Phew, I was getting anxious as I had received my Note 1 three weeks before the Note 2 was announced, if the rumours of a 2GHz A15 dual core and 1680x1050 display had turned out to be true I'd have made a very poor choice. As is the Note 2 has a lower screen resolution and specs that'll make it weather the Android release cycle a bit better but not really improve day to day stuff. Here's hoping the Note 3 is something special.

It came out October last year, but Samsung didn't really start pushing their advertising until around February time.

When I bought my note in march I thought it had just come out, I think they released it on the qt, hoping not to attract the lawyers attention. It is my first android phone & I love it, might upgrade next year to the third generation.

Very possible, what with the calamity court case in the us, I think Samsung will take the gloves off now & have a full on assault with apple. which surely has to be good for consumers.

Have tried it with Splashtop, it works, but you lose pressure levels and the codec drops input events so it's not as smooth but a little tweak to support s-pen fully and you'd be there.

The S3 is a great phone at a premium I'm not willing to pay, where as the note will be reduced in the coming month's to make way for note 2.

My battery lasts a full day of quite heavy usage, when I first updated to ics my battery life was worse than it was before, I had a search & found a few tips regarding this issue, charging the battery fully & then taking it out & back in again seemed to do the trick for me. Another tip I can remember was to do a soft reset
