That's been MS' problem, marketing has been dreadful on WP7 so they're playing catchup. They're fine, pretty much the same as the usual faux-aspirational BS you get from Google and Apple and every gadget co.

Looks great with Touch Screen, but like stated most will be using Mouse & Keyboard not investing in a Touch Screen Monitor.

Hmmm. Windows 8 + asus z77 motherboard (wifi go!) and a smart phone ( most people have one) best of both worlds. Touch interface with desktop power if about the home. Then normal win7 style mouse and keyboard when needed. Could be good, could be bad... Just my two cent.

Checked and it is indeed as you said. It only doesn't work properly on the latest Chrome. On top of that, I've just suffered two BSODs using latest Chrome on sites (not HeXus) that I've used before without any hick-ups. Two times verifying RAIDs in the last few hours due to crappy Flash acceleration isn't something I'm particularly fond of. Something's obviously afoot with Chrome's (22.0.1229.92 m) Flash support. Reporting it now, thanks

EDIT: They just updated Chrome AGAIN in the last few hours, this time it's version 22.0.1229.94 m. Doesn't help loading these videos though LOL

Resolved! Turns out videos didn't play due to AdBlock+ filters not being updated. I'm pretty sure those BSODs were caused on a hardware level, though, so it couldn't have been AdBlock (runs in an isolated process within Chrome). Updates within hours of one another support my suspicions it was due to some hardware acceleration code, most probably how Flash is (was) handled within Chrome. There's been a lot of changes to that lately, mostly for security reasons, but also stability. Anyway, thanks again brasco for pointing out it works in other browsers

I can see how this will appeal to casual users. If the only real use for their laptop or PC is browsing facebook albums etc. Maybe even those who use graphic design software like Photoshop.

I don't think it will have many applications for users who play games or things which will depend on a mouse and keyboard as others have said.

I'll keep my win 7 machine for gaming, and for everything else I have my Android tab.
