    Can't help thinking this might be a big deal about nothing, they're just asking for someone with GPU experience. Personally I wouldn't assume anything from that, if anything they're just keeping their options open.

    And I doubt Nvidia is going anywhere in the foreseeable future, besides desktops they're very competitive in both HPC and mobile markets and have the likes of project Denver/Boulder around the corner.

    Does it matter? Apple seems to switch GPU provider with just about every product iteration.

    AMD's GPU's tend to be cheaper than Nvidia's so they may do it to keep costs minimal and make a larger profit for there products by charging more

    What a stupid article! The job ad says Apple are looking for an electrical engineer with "AMD and/or Nvidia GPU" experience.

    i hope they do have amd mite give them a bit of a break for once and slow down on the pc gpu rush outs
