So an iPad Mini with Retina then? Or iPad mini with current display but same hardware as the newnew iPad? Unlikely to be both, they need to keep something on hand to add on for 6 months later

They did similar with IPad 3(new ipad) and Ipad 4(new new ipad) That was about 6 months between release dates so its not as if they havent done this kind of thing before.

Plus to say it will annoy the apple customers I think that if telling them they dont know how to hold a phone correctly didnt piss them off then a new phone coming out after 6 months is unlikely to cause them to cry too much.

Agreed, with the behaviour of the company I would never recommend, or purchase, one of their products myself but none of that seems to bother their customers.

Maybe we are the weird ones for caring how a company acts...

Yep. Although from one perspective they had to do it to bring the new connector across their line of products and bring the chip up to a similar speed with the iPhone 5. I counted that as annoying and maybe a one off with a return to a 'yearly' cycle of their products. If they were to release a new iPhone, 6-8 months down the line it would annoy (need a stronger family friendly word) a lot more people.

However if they need to do something, add a Retina iPad Mini ...

This is typical Apple and why i hate them with a passion.

There should be no Iphone 5S, there should have never been a 4S or a 3S. this is pure money making by Apple. The S version of each phone should have been the first release not the second.
