Re: News - HTC reportedly working on 7-inch and 12-inch Windows RT tablets

So I was in John Lewis last night, been all middle class, discussing how much better the good old days where and all the other things your average John Lewis customer does.

    What do I see?

Two kids fighting to play on the surface RT, not the iPads or the Andriod ones.

Normally its a case of everyone on the iPads and ignoring the Andriod devices, sadly some children think an Andriod tablet is the 21st century version of a lump of coal.

Interesting news from HTC.. I like the look and feel of the HTC WP8 devices, so I hope they are going to carry the same type of design over.
Hmm, but the Q3 2013 release? I can't help feeling the Windows Phone 8/Windows 8 manufacturers are risking missing the boat again?

seems like a bizzare situation, what the hell is there to play on besides swiping the screen about? Kids are crazy though so i suppose its a pointless question.

When i have been in techy stores around christmas, a lot of the focus (aside from iPad) has been around the Amazon tablets. People seem to be able to digest android easier when its been coated with Amazons own skin and name. Personally i think its complete wank in comparison to stock.

Only people i know with Surface tablets are on hexus... infact i think you are the single only person in the world who i have any remote connection to that owns one and i know and spend time with a LOT of geeks.

It's because it looks differen't. What do people use tablets for anyway? Angry birds, posting crap on facebook, surfing the web where you never ever need to write anything, looking like a dickhead in startbucks.

However I don't think those kids will convert in to sales. But it was interesting to see.
