Quite like the temperature and barometer sensors. Think that would be useful especially as Kickstarter is starting to throw up things like it...

5" pushes the size just past the limit IMO. I still find the 4.7" of my one X a little too big. If i was upgrading this year i think i would actually stick to HTC, as much as it pains me to admit given their poor attitude to software updates.

The Galaxy S4 link ( in the article and directly from the Samsung home page at http://www.samsung.com/uk/#latest-home ) appears to be down at this time.

Same size as S3, not bad.....I will upgrade if any good deals come around, speacial offers (free tab) or trade in on my S3 is high otherwise no rush to get it.

Looks good, especially as my S2 is due an upgrade in 3 months time :-) I would say this is more the upgrade for the S2 users, kind of in the way some people looked at the S3 from the S. Now the only sticking point will be the Galaxy Note 3 and it's release.

I think it's actually the same size as the S3, but the screen is bigger because the bezel is thinner.

Re: News - Samsung Galaxy S4 revealed, coming to UK on 26th April

It's not as exciting as I'd hoped, but I can't argue against my good sense; I love my S3, the S4's screen is bigger, FullHD, the battery is bigger, the CPU is faster, there's more RAM, Gorilla Glass 3 hopefully means an end to these annoying scratches and yet despite all of these small but cumulative improvements, it's no taller, it's less wide, less thick and and weighs less!

As an everyday phone it's going to be great. It's not quite as striking as the HTC One but then despite smaller screens, I find both the One and older One X very uncomfortable to hold, unlike my S3.

Actually smaller in two dimensions, and lighter to boot.

Having used both One X and S3, honestly 0.1" didn't make any noticeable difference and I think part of that was down to how easy it was to curve your hand around the device on the S3, you felt like you had more stretch. I doubt an extra 0.2" on-top of that's going me make any significant impact, especially as the hold should have been improved with smaller thickness and width.

Almost think we've got too high res screens now in phones, the PPI is a stupid arms race, almost like megapixels in HTC cameras.

As is, a lot of the games step down the resolution, because they can't draw details fast enough, yet this race marches on and on.

I'd just like people to get better colour rendition if its not much to ask?

I remain skeptical. I struggle with both the S3 and the One X so every tiny little difference is a difference i take note of.

Agreed, that and efficiency in the screen so we can have better battery life. 720p on my One x is totally crisp, i cant imagine that my eyes would be able to discern between that and a 1080p screen of similar size.

Stop wasting time on irrelevant numbers and give us the numbers we actually care about.

I have to say though, I do appreciate the retina display on the iPad, once pixels become that small, the objects on the screen feel more solid and real, rather than a fuzz of lights, this is perhaps even more important with Super AMOLED, as on the S3, the unique sub-pixel pattern is definitely more noticeable than LCD at the same density. Though I completely agree that, especially with AMOLED, Samsung needs to improve colour representation and accuracy.

Re: News - Samsung Galaxy S4 revealed, coming to UK on 26th April

I think i`ll be keeping my s3 for a while longer

Its an impressive looking phone but as has been said by multiple people already it seems more of an update than a full upgrade. same as the s versions with apple.

Some nice features but nothing to make me go out and sell my s3 just yet.
