    To some people - yes.
Remember when AMD lost to CPU wars becuase their clocks were lower, even though their IPC was much higher ? Whose hype will work better here ?
Also, this is a PC forum
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

    That ship has long sailed.

Simple fact is Nintendo released a quick money-spin; there is ABSOLUTELY no excuse to release sub-hardware and dub it 'next-gen'.

True, the most popular PC games like Peggle are real hardware pushers

I don't think AMD lost CPU wars when their IPC was higher - quite the opposite - we all jumped to opteron/claw hammer etc. and it was Intel who were forced to follow with their core arch.

Hmmm the PC demo seemed well more detailed than the PS4 one, anyone else thing the same?

Wish they'd release a playable tech demo of the same locations. Then I'd be more impressed if it still looked as good.

Yeah - the PS4 one looks very current-gen tech to me. Irritating thing is, us PC gamers got to watch the quality of textures on the consoles since most games will be a direct port.

My understanding too. Okay, it's easy to dismiss this as "comment is not from title developer or publisher", but given the importance of UE, it's got to hurt at Nintendo.

Maybe the upside will be that it'll be easier to get from PS4 "current gen" to the level PC's will be at when the PS4 launches. After all, I think everyone seems to be of the opinion that the XBox/PS3 are so far behind the PC's that it's a lot of effort to bring the graphics up to the PC's level. Or at least to a level that would be acceptable to the render connoisseurs here @ Hexus!

No it isn't - according to my browser this is the "hexus news" area.

Trouble is the Wii-U is closer to the 360 or PS3 than the PS4 or neXt-box (or whatever they're gonna call it). UE4 might scale enough to run on the 360/PS3/Wii-U but it won't have all the bells and whistles.
