    Yup, AMD innovates, Intel improves.

    Amd does x64 with Athlon 64, later so does Intel.
    Amd does dualcore with Athlon 64 X2, Intel comes up with Core number numeral.
    Amd does modular design with Phenom, Intel....

    You can find just as many examples the other way round, don't pretend it's a one way street.
