Looks great but sometimes overdoing it kills football games.

I spent many an hour in my student days playing pro-evo.

Why did I have to watch that Frank Ribery close-up though?

Do I buy for PC or PS3 though, hmm.

Player positions still seems to be irrespective of their actual movement, and even in the official video we can see players "adjust" their position, as if they were sliding on the grass field while they run (observe the defender at ~ 1:50 into the video, for example). This suggests there's a lot of behind-the-scene adjustment to physics for whatever reasons, which results in difficulties in controlling players. Their movement is also and still too robot-like, which could be made more seamless with calculation of a few more intermediate points. I don't really want a 30 fps footy game where all players move in 5 fps intervals.

I couldn't care less if it was exactly the same as the real thing, I'd rather play Sensible World of Soccer. Gameplay over graphics anyday, these modern football games are too serious but SWOS was just pure fun, I just wish someone from FIFA or Pro Evo would realise this.

I'm sure the millions that pay $40+ each season for FIFA would love to get a reboot of SWOS instead......hell, they probably don't realise that they could download SWOS free, EA Sports probably don't even remember the game.....

Seriously, that's like saying Doom was better than BF3. Please leave nostalgia at the door, most people like progress.

oh dear, who put a Buzz Lightyear up your ass?

I never said it was better, I was referring to the fact modern football games are not as much fun as SWOS was back in the day.

Oh and by the way, progress? the only progress I see is that they made it really boring and technical whilst trying to make it look like the real thing. It's abit like comparing a go-kart to a Formula 1 racing car, I'd rather go go-karting.

Going to be interesting to see how the Pro Evo and the new FIFA will compare!
