    But battery life... They've got a slow enough CPU that they should be able to conserve something, whether they will seize the opportunity for a market grab or not we'll have to find out.

    I really need an upgrade to my Desire S and I was getting very intrigued by the One Mini but 12GB available storage may really put an end to my interest in this - I've got 15+ on my micro sd card as it is. Do they not want people using them as mp3 players?

    Only if you can stream it from the cloud, eat up your mobile data and they can make more money from you.

    i say no to any mini versions(weaker versions) of great mobiles only better versions

    This. It always irks me they seem to exploit the successful models to make a 'Mini' but essentially in no way similar specs-wise version that happens to have the same version of UI.
