It will come out for PC, im betting they are just holding off on announcing it to try and persuade people to buy into the console versions early instead of waiting for it on PC.

They would make a very wrong move if they don't release GTA V for PC.

And the Online trailer looks amazing, this is like SAMP but many times better.

Yeah they always seem to use the consoles to bank the cash and then add the PC port later. I don't begrudge them it so long as I get it eventually and it's done right. They aren't the biggest studio despite their successes, so I can understand the business logic. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a deal between them and Sony/MS about it either.

Re: News - Grand Theft Auto Online: official gameplay video published

As the GTA series is such a vast game it will just take time to be released on PC which requires more fixing and tweaking + hopefully the video editor. I dont think we will see it 'til next year, as is usual with PC GTA releases since GTA 3 they advertise it will be 4/5 months after the console but is usually more like 7/8 months. GTA started on the PC so it would be a bit of a back slap if they didn't continue, along with the Playstation its been a consistent player.

Re: News - Grand Theft Auto Online: official gameplay video published

Although I'd love to believe that it's coming to PC sooner, I think GTA Online is more of a content and opportunity system for the console versions - like instead of just straight up multiplayer, it's more like what Codemasters are doing under the Racenet system, so that the multiplayer doesn't get stale.

Also with crews I think they might be able to be carried over from Max Payne 3 maybe, that would be great, but even if not I think this is more about a continuing online universe rather than a PC specific online component.

But never in my life have I wanted to be wrong more, as I'm assuming it's the normal case of the PC version coming out down the line (recently they were advertising a job of some sort to help with a PC port but it was taken offline), as I don't own either console I'll be borrowing a friend's while I complete the single player, I won't get to properly enjoy the multiplayer universe until the PC version comes out.

Although I'll probably cave in at some point and pick up a second hand 360 just for it ha. I still play 4 and episodes from time to time on the PC, so it'll be intriguing to see how the visuals compare to Icenhancer's mod for 4.
