    So, ChromeOS now has a fully MS-compatible (if basic) office suite? Not entirely convinced MS thought that one through...

    Didn't it always have that in Docs? I use it pretty extensively and haven't noticed any worse compatibility than say open office.

    I think it's awesome they start supporting all the different operating systems and ecosystems out there, it makes document compatibility easy when transferring files

    They are *Web* apps, a camel with an embedded web browser could sport a "fully MS-compatible (if basic) office suite".

    All they've done is add linkage, thus subverting Google Docs by making it easier to reach/find MS apps.
