Re: Features - QOTW: Which PC monitor(s) do you use?

23" Acer T232HL IPS with touchscreen. Nice "toy" for Windows 8. Colors are normal, touchscreen is very good especially for playing Android games via BlueStacks. But only 60 Hz, 5 ms response and a huge light bleed on black color in corners. Hard to play fast shooters but easy to work with photos I will not recommend this Acer monitor for gamers and it's not ideal for pro. 7/10
24" Samsung 2494HS with TFT TN. Old model, colors are darker on top and lighter in the bottom. But this is seamless while playing games and ads some cool FX to picture. Not for editing photos 10/10 for gaming, 3/10 for working with photo.
Maybe i'll try new Samsung with PLS or Dell with IPS next time. Can't find a model with high response and good colors at the same time

Another Dell Dell U2713HM user here. 27" 2560 x 1440 IPS. Beautiful screen that I snagged for £330 all in with a Dell discount and quidco code.

I have an Asus MK241, a 24" 1920x1200 TN, not the best monitor ever, and it's getting on a bit. So I'm eyeing up an Asus PG278Q 'ROG Swift' atm.

    3x Dell U2412M (Desktop of 6000x1200).

Previously Dell U2410. After using an IPS panel don't think I could go back to TN.

Re: Features - QOTW: Which PC monitor(s) do you use?

I personally have been using a IIyamma ProLite E2473HDS for the past couple of years. I have had no major issues with the monitor my only gripe is the built-in speakers are shocking. View angle's are not bad considering its a TN panel also the colours are actually very good. Overall I'm quite happy I don't see myself upgrading to a 1440p monitor till I upgrade my GPU however that till be a while after I have done my new build.

Re: Features - QOTW: Which PC monitor(s) do you use?

I use a LG W2361 23" for my Windows desktop, and while the picture is good, the ergonomics suck pretty badly. Had a Viewsonic 19" VX-series before that and that was a cracking monitor - good picture and a joy to use. Shame it got replaced because it was 4:3 and started to show the odd dead pixel.

Next monitor I buy (to replace the LG) definitely won't be an LG.

    Dell U3011+U2212HM

Both great. The 30" stays until I can get 5120*3200 at 30/32"

Currently I have 2x LG E2350 23" LED backlit panels, these have been ok but by the end of the month they will both go and end up being replaced with an Asus 27" PG278Q full on gaming monitor, yes I know it's TN, but it's a good TN with excellent specs, 2560x1440 and 144hz, nuff said.

Aren't TN panels preferred for gaming? You say it like it's a bad thing...?
