On paper at least anyone with a Note 3 will not find it big. It is supposedly the size of an iphone 6+..

The Nexus 5 is still available and it's still a device towards the top of the market. OK, the camera is only good and the battery isn't huge, but it appears it's not going anywhere anytime soon. It is being sold with Lollipop now (or imminently) and I wouldn't bet against a N5 refresh (or whole new N5) next year, as they did with the N7.

I know the Nexus 5 is still an incredible value for its price but I was hoping that the new nexus will be priced around the nexus 5 as it was with the nexus 4 and 5. I don't think Google will ever release a refreshed Nexus 5 because to my knowledge they have never done it before.

What about the Nexus 7 2012 and 2013 editions then... Google could quite happily do the same...

The styling screams "Moto", not that that is a necessarily a bad thing (I love my Moto G) , until you factor in the pricing. The Moto range is, largely, toward the budget end of the market, so why style such an expensive phone in the same fashion?

Not that it matters - I wouldn't buy it at £200. A phone with almost 6 inches of screen is just bloody stupid IMO.

Nexus 5 will continue to be sold for people who want the Nexus price. It is a big jump in price.

This is basically saying forget Nexus 7, Forget get Nexus 5. Get both and with it better battery life.
