Gigabyte Windforce GTX 760, great card, runs very cool. So far all games at 1080 run fine, however the new Assasin's Creed and Evil Within may be too much for it, let's see what Boxing day will bring
Did a significant upgrade from a Geforce GT 555M to a MSI GTX 980 Gaming 4G. Awesome experience, even if it can't do rock solid 60fps on all games at max settings on 1440p.
GeForce GTX 460 1GB. Works for older games, but useless for anything from the last couple years. I would like to play at my display's native resolution (2560x1600). I can't complain, however, as it was a gift from a friend after my 8800GTX died.
gtx 680 for me currently. it certainly does the job, but a 970 is DEFINITELY in my future - probably the Gigabyte WF3 edition. I just sold my rig to a buddy, and I'll be moving up to X99, so a 970 just makes sense.
GTX 770. Thinking about upgrading to a 970 at christmas or maybe if I can get a cheap enough 2nd 770 I'll SLI but I mean REALLY cheap.
I was running a single MSI 660Ti Power Edition for a while due to something causing lag in my SLI set up. After trial and error, I found out which card was causing the problem and took it out of the system. A few days ago I took the thing apart (very well made piece of kit, with good quality screws and well soldered components) I discovered that the heat paste had dried up. This was probably due to to the fact i never switched the cards round so this card was always taking all the heat.
Now that i have re-pasted it, Im now back to dual 660Ti PE, no need to upgrade for a while
Got a Asus 7850 direct cu 2 and been fine for the last 2 years. Playing Far Cry 4 now and this is the first time I have thought I need a new card. I am also upgrading my monitor to a ultrawide in the new year and the card will struggle even more me thinks. The 2gb of ram has been fine up until now.
MSI (Nvidia) 9800GT... still does a good job on most current offerings, but has gotten very long in the tooth - why I keep trying to get luck in the Hexus giveaways
GTX 770 OC, 4GB.
It's a great card, and it's fine for my needs, although new games have just taken a bit of a leap forward which pitches things a little differently. I had hoped that I'd got the right card to play on high settings with most games at 1440p to match my monitor, and for the most part that's true (Alien: Isolation, Shadow Of Mordor, etc). However, it's turned out to be a little less than what I need for some games, so I play those at 1080p instead, but it scales up nicely on my monitor so that's not too much of a problem.
Perhaps I should have waited for a 970, but I'm good for a while with this one, really. I don't see myself buying a 970 or 980 in any case, but if I can easily afford it then maybe I'll get a 1070 (or whatever it'll be called) next year, and give this card to a friend. It's pure QHD greed, really - the card I have will be fine to play anything for the next 4 years at 1080p I expect, maybe even longer.
HD7750 1gb gddr5 ,runs CS GO,DOTA 2 60FPS at 1080P.
processor is cheap Pentium g620 lga 1155.
Its enough for me cause of the low power consumption.I wont upgrade unless they die natural death or valve announce new counterstrike with crazy graphics .
Currently using a asus gtx 970 strix.... and what an upgrade it was from a gtx260 oc. Well, unless i play farcry 3 or 4..20-30fps max... settings dont make a difference...
GTX 660 Zotac
Gigabyte Radeon 7950 flashed to 1GHz core using Gigabyte Radeon 7970 bios.
Will wait until Radeon 390-series comes out to decide on upgrading. Not interested in nVidia cards any longer due to bad driver experiences and I'm turned off by nVidia's constant attempts to make proprietary standards to corner the market for themselves. That, and there insistence on only providing 2GB of ram on $400+ graphics cards (eg. GTX680, 670 and 770) kind of felt slimy, too. I know they're a busines, but give me a break.
