I feel that all games should have at least a half decent plot to follow to keep me interested. No need for mindless violence in games. I'm not surprised it's been pulled to be honest.

This is a weak move from Steam, assuming they've pulled it based on it being offensive and people being upset about apparently not having a slightly more indepth story line behind all the killing. We've been killing people for no good reason in video games for years. It's nothing new. Just take a look at all the popular games today - Battlefield, Call of duty, GTA etc etc etc... ALL INVOLVE LOTS OF KILLING! It's just a game. Can't stand these whinging babies that want to try and ban everything in the world that they dislike.
These videos highlight some important points as well:

Yes, they involve killing, but the majority of games aren't about the death and murder and never so frivolously in a popular title. Initially you have to shoot people on the simple basis of stopping them killing you, which isn't the case with this poor excuse.
I agree it's a fine distinction and possibly an arbitrary one at that, but that's the concept of morality for you
This game is pretty much stupid & pointless. And what with all the people hating on valve then praising gaben which is pretty stupid. There was never much anger when Epic told hatred to pull the logo off because Epic did not want to have any sort of connections.
Not my cup of tea, but customers should be able to buy the game if they want to.
It's now back on there.

EDIT: directhex already pointed it out in an earlier post. This morning Destructive Creations' Facebook page published an image of what looks like an email sent by Valve boss Gabe Newel to the developer's CEO that explains the decision.
"Hi, Jaroslaw," it begins.
"Yesterday I heard that we were taking Hatred down from Greenlight. Since I wasn't up to speed, I asked around internally to find out why we had done that. It turns out that it wasn't a good decision, and we'll be putting Hatred back up. My apologies to you and your team. Steam is about creating tools for content creators and customers.
"Good luck with your game.
"Gabe."
It's funny you say that. Because when I made my other post in this thread, I was gonna say that I could at least have some sympathy for all the outrage if this was a child rape simulator or something like that. But it's just another game with killing. I think killing people because you're sick of them is just as good a reason as killing them for their oil, or because they're on the red team and you're on the blue team...
Good to hear! Way more people voted yes for this game than no.
