    £404 isn't competitive and for a 'budget' line-up is ridiculous. I'll take a 960GB Crucial M500 for £272.35 thank you very much.

    ah good old 1:1 us/uk conversion... seriously I thought we'd moved past this with decent tech companies, this even makes the markups by apple etc looks ok.

    So, "cost effective" drives that not only are more expensive and lower performing than competitors (such as Crucial MXx00 and M5x0)? Oh, and without any sort of power loss protection? Thanks but no thanks.

    Fortunately Scan seems to be ignoring the recommended pricing and currently have the 480G listed at a far more reasonable £162.58, the 960G is on at £323.95 which while better than £404 quoted could probably do with being cheaper as it comes in just above the Samsung 1TB 850 and a decent chunk of change more than the Crucial BX100 1TB
