    Someone mentioned this earlier, genius move from HBO there.

    If they had a legitimate UK service I would happily pay, instead I have to contribute via Sky or Amazon, along with a swamp of utter swill.

    That immediately makes me never want to buy 4k content. What do you do if you reinstall windows? Lose all the content you have paid for? Motherboard dies.....the same?
    Watch it in the other room? No.

    Microsoft tried this with WMA files and funnily enough, they never took off.
