Nice to AMD getting their act together. No doubt they will be featuring their awesome 390X, maybe even 395X2?.....

I am hoping this does not mean that the 390x will be anounced them, I am hopeing that the 390x will be released at computex, and then i would be guessing it might mean that it will then be powering all the demo's at e3. just to show how powerfull it is

"cant wait for the old tech! sponsored by AMD!"

Can't wait for AMD to smash nVidia and Intel at the same time, completely unexpectedly, as a result of Jim Keller's next generation Zen/K12 CPUs and upcoming Radeon products from Raja Koduri's team. Normally, I'd want competition, but these two clown companies have had it coming for so long with their underhanded, dirty tricks, I'll be delivering a slow, Joker-from-Batman style clap when they're both vanquished.

...and then the under-handed, dirty tricks from AMD will start. Don't be so naive to think that AMD won't do the same the moment they have the opportunity.

Yeah, that's the point of such events. But aren't the press supposed to be asking tough questions and writing tough reviews - not running PR on behalf of Ubi etc?

They have 3 booths there... somehow, I don't think they're going to be under-represented, nor overly bothered, by AMD spending money for 3 hours of face time in a 21 hour show that's only attended by industry insiders and professionals. And considering Nvidia is an actual member of ESA (the owners/presenters of E3) and AMD isn't...

People read entirely too much into things.

Most of E3 is gaming software, with some peripheral stuff. Sometimes an OEM will announce a gaming ready rig - lately, it's been laptops, and Falcon West and their obscenely decadent machine, and "rumors" this year include Sony offering a slim PS4 with an SSD and Microsoft offering a steep discount for the Xbox over the holidays.

E3 is pretty much nothing more than a love fest between advertisers, magazine (e and paper) publishers, and software/hardware manufacturers. There's seldom, if ever, anything that comes as any kind of surprise to the savvy consumer, and nothing that comes as a surprise to anyone that actually works in the industry (that's paying attention).

You would think so. But if you want an invite back in the future, or maybe the inside track on some actual product to test/review, you play softball.

Dude... you need to calm down a little... and just a hint - you look a little hypocritical sporting the attitude AND sporting an Nvidia GPU in your profile... just saying... if I hated Nvidia so much, I'd be inclined to put in a Rage 3d... it would be appropriate, I think...
