    The USB cable isn't just for power, it carries data between the LED controllers and the Razer Synapse software. but yes for £55 most people would expect something extra. I think the wireless charging is a great idea.

    Judging from the comments here (most of which I agree with - had the exact same thought about USB hub, and I think wireless charging is a winner) Razer presumably did absolutely zero market research when designing the product!

    Taking the wireless idea a bit further, they could have made the whole pad a wireless charger and released it in conjunction with a new wireless mouse that charged as you used it... so it could have had much smaller batteries, and hence WAY more customisation options for weight distribution.
