Re: Humble Tom Clancy Bundle now available, just pay what you want

$75 for an unreleased game on the travesty that is UPlay? Thanks, that sounds like an awesome deal...

There's something very wrong with all of these games that I've tried - they have a strange feel/view/movement - something I can't quite put my finger on. Couldn't get into any of them as a result.

As was said to me by a friend on this Humble Bundle: "Nothing very Humble about this Bundle; no thanks, Ubisoft!"

Shame they're not doing steam keys as well. Even EA gave out steam keys with the Origin bundle.

The Rainbow games are pretty good for a few quid so I'm in! I don't mind Uplay now either, the Heroes of M&M series seem to play nicely with it and as for privacy concerns...I already sold my soul by installing chrome for windows 10.

Re: Humble Tom Clancy Bundle now available, just pay what you want

I went and blew the $10 as I enjoyed most of these on console, didn't realise they were uPlay only until it was too late.

I suppose I'll just suck it up though, I always slide my whole purchase to "Charity" so it'd be a bit mean to take it away again just because I don't want to install another thing.

I had a look and spotted the Star Wars Audio books so I got those instead, 10 books for $15.01, I thought I'd enjoy that more.

Even if they had provided Steam keys, Uplay would still be required. The day Ubisoft Kills off Uplay is the day I will feel safe to buy Ubisoft games again.

Wow, I can't believe how much hate there is for Uplay. As far as using it to install games, it is as simple as Steam. It even has DRM like steam.

I prefer Steam as it has the bulk of my games, but otherwise I really don't mind opening another content delivery manager. Only exception is Origin, purely because EA are the anti-Christ of gaming... I mean, look at what they have done to Battlefront :'(.

Its the lack of 360 controller support on the older games that stopped me buying.
