    Hexus misleading headline strikes again!

There's no indication this is really a GTX1080 or anything confirmed. Please add something to distinguish between your real reports and your rumour-repeating! Otherwise the quality/trust of your articles goes down

It would be nice if we could have had representative 980Ti benchmark scores for a quick compare? I've no idea if it beat it by 3% or 10%...

Edit: Thankfully the videocardz article had some overclocked examples. Still would be nice next time.

If it barely beat the top card of Nvidia... and cost alot then what is the purpose of getting it?

    WAIT!

If the livestream is at 6pm PST (2am UK), then why is the "Order of 10" page counting down to 6pm UK time for me?

That's quite funny. Probably a bug and it'll sit at 00:00, or maybe a splash page will go live at 0.

That would be an embarrassing bug! Still, not the first time timezones and not using UTC have bitten a website, application, etc, and it won't be the last.

Well if its true, thats reasonably impressive. Not the leap I think we were expecting, since its relatively common for the next gen to match the next tier up of the last gen, but I guess the key is how much less power it uses and heat it generates.

That said, synthetics are synthetics, definitely going to be waiting for some actual game benchmarks.

New cards typically cost the same as the old model. New 1080 will cost the same as a 980 etc. while the 900 series will drop in price.
