A nice idea that I'm happy to see someone is brave enough to implement. Not entirely happy with the apparent timed "exclusive" side of it, but I guess there does have to be some benefit to them, and for a free DRM-free copy of the game, probably a worthwhile trade off. I just know I probably won't pay enough attention and will miss some games.

On the topic of free games the latest On The House offering from Origin/EA is action-RPG game Nox.
Also they are giving away the Battlefield Hardline Getaway expansion right now.

I haven't bought anything from GOG, but the other half has. Haven't seen GOG Galaxy before, maybe they're promoting this? I log into Steam, (voice) chat and play games with friends, and the store is there attached.

I did get the email after I revisited the page and selected the games it found following the account connection. I don't think I'd have seen anything when the connection finished though - just the selection/'purchase' part.

Well all I got was FTL (I have a fairly huge steam library too), and I'm fairly sure I got that DRM free with a Humble Bundle a few years ago.

I haven't really looked at GOG before, but considering the types of games they sell, they seem fairly expensive from what I saw yesterday.
