hahahah...still running an ancient Antec Quattro 1000w. Has to be about 7 years old now, been through several systems and yet to miss a beat!

Re: QOTW: What capacity is the power supply in your main PC?

I have the same power supply in both computers, Seasonic P-1050XP3 Platinum. Changed to them after the Corsair AX860i's in both developed major faults.

    850w XFX just now
Replaced an aging 'black magic' 750 which did me proud for 5years till the thermal sensor fried causing the fan to spin at 100% all the time.

Re: QOTW: What capacity is the power supply in your main PC?

EVGA Supernova GS 550. Great supply. Semi passive. With the 1230v3 and gtx770 the fan only turns on when the gpu has to do more than half load but then I've yet to notice it. Pretty sure it has a 5 year warranty as well which is. nice on a mid range supply.

Re: QOTW: What capacity is the power supply in your main PC?

I have for less than a year a XFX ProSeries 450W Core Edition Full Wired (Bronze).
I calculated that for my system is more than enough and I don't care for the future.
After all PSU degrade over time so by the time I will have a stronger system the PSU will be changed anyway.

I picked this one because I checked some in depth reviews that showed it as a great PSU for the money with high quality materials and stable power.

I've got the 525W version of this, had it for about 5/6 years now and it's been excellent.
