    Disappointing it's just a shrink. No HDR, no 4K BD, just the same machine, smaller. If it's not significantly cheaper that the XBO slim, why did they bother?

    Where did you get that information from? I would have thought 4k blueray would have been top of the list of things to support!

    As for why bother; smaller box, lower BoM, maybe actually make a profit on hardware for a change?

    So they're going to be releasing 2 new version of the PS4? This and the PS 4.5? Not sure if it'll end up well

    According to CNet, there's going to be a lower-cost slime version, no word on whether the BR player will be updated to be able to manage Ultra HD disks, and then the Neo, which will allow 4k gaming. If the slim comes with a 4k BR drive, I'll buy it. Maybe*
