a 240gb ssd as a present for my parents. £50 on scan for a Kingston. was £48 on amazon this morning but couldn't order as I was at work and when I got home went up to £68 so ordered from scan and got free delivery thanks to hexus=)

A 40" 4K Samsung TV. Missed the £300 Tesco offer while on the phone to John Lewis, who were about to price match it when it went out of stock. Still, £350 wasn't too bad, but had hoped for a tad less.

Was after a TV anyway so was waiting for the Black Friday sales to see if anything interesting would come up.

A lacklustre day of sales all in all. I think the best offers I've seen were on coffee machines, and I'm not enough of a connoisseur to cave.

The one thing i was actually interested in* (a 11" celeron 2GB RAM but fanless laptop for £99) has been out of stock everytime i've checked at Tesco's for the past few days :/

*potentially to replace my lenovo x121e. (I've made it nearly fanless, at the expense of it averaging near 70C...) But even that lowly celeron plus a mere 2GB RAM would outperform the E-450 AMD CPU i have now whilst barely making the laptop warm.

I didn't really go out of my way to look, but the only thing I would have been interested in getting wasn't part of the sales anyway when I checked.

A 64gb SD (lexar Pro 1000x) got a free 16gb pen drive with it (black friday promotion).

Funny think is I had it on stock watch as it was much cheaper than amazon and just got the email today it was back in stock, just happened to be black friday so I got a free pen drive, will work for the wife and stop her losing my 128gb drive.

Less exciting but most expensive... A new washer/dryer. I've been on the lookout for a while, good timing. Especially as to match the other kitchen appliances I've been on the lookout for a black one.
